Scholarships
We help local students chase an education without the weight of cost in the way — from trade certifications to four-year degrees. Talent is everywhere; opportunity shouldn't depend on a zip code.
Students & families →The Wallace Family Foundation invests in the people, students, and good causes of Sharon and the Shenango Valley. Quietly, generously, and for the long run.
We believe a community grows strongest when neighbors lift one another up. The Wallace Family Foundation exists to put resources behind that belief — funding scholarships, local causes, and programs that make life in the Shenango Valley brighter.
This foundation began around a simple kitchen-table idea: that a family fortunate enough to do well should give back to the place that shaped it. We're not chasing headlines. We're looking for the student who needs a hand, the volunteer group that needs a boost, and the small idea that could grow into something lasting.
We keep our giving close to home, our process simple, and our doors open. If you know of a need in Sharon or the surrounding valley, we want to hear about it.
We stay flexible on purpose. Good causes don't always fit a category — but most of our giving falls into one of these.

Students & families →Food pantries, youth sports, the arts, neighbors in a tight spot — we back the organizations and moments that hold a community together. If it makes the valley a kinder place, it's on our radar.
Local nonprofits & groups →Sometimes the best gift is rolling up our sleeves. We help launch and sustain programs — mentorships, events, and partnerships — that create lasting good rather than one-time help.
Built to last →Sharon sits at the heart of the Shenango Valley — a community built by hardworking families and tight-knit neighborhoods. It's where our roots are, and it's where every dollar we give goes to work.
We're not a faceless grant machine in a far-off city. We're your neighbors. When you reach out, you're talking to a family that cares about the same streets, schools, and main streets you do.
The foundation is led by three couples who share a name, a hometown, and a belief in giving back. All proud graduates of Sharon High School, they've never forgotten the community that raised them.
We're early in our journey and keeping things human. Here's how giving works today.
Tell us about a student, an organization, or a need you've seen in the community. A short note is all it takes — no lengthy application required right now.
We listen, ask a few questions, and look into how a gift could make a real difference. Because we're local, we can often move quickly.
When it's a fit, we fund it. We like to stay in touch and see the good our giving does, building relationships that last beyond a single check.
Whether you're a student, a local organization, or a neighbor who's spotted a need — we'd love to hear from you. Reach out and a member of the family will get back to you.
